Delete your account & data

You can delete your G1 Lyno account and everything tied to it at any time, directly in the app or by email. No login is required to use G1 Lyno in the first place, so this only applies if you’ve linked an account to sync your progress.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

  1. Open G1 Lyno and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account under the Account section.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This immediately deletes your account and its Firestore backup. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request by email

No app installed, or can’t get to Settings? Email support@g1lyno.com from the address linked to your account (or include your linked email in the message) and ask us to delete your account. We verify the request and complete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account identifier and any linked Google, Apple, or email profile info.
  • Your synced quiz and simulator progress stored in Firestore (attempts, scores, simulator run history).
  • Your app settings (language, notification opt-in) tied to the account.

What isn’t affected

  • Local progress on your device is separate from your account and stays until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
  • Purchase records held by Apple or Google — refunds and subscription cancellation are handled directly through the App Store or Google Play, not by deleting your G1 Lyno account.
  • Limited records we’re required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
